Hey guys, this is Simone!! I hope that everyone is doing good!

I just made this journal to let everyone know that I still come on here, lol. I've just been very inactive due to the seemingly endless amount of school work I have and have had to put up with.

However, I also want everyone who watches me to know that I have chosen to not post my art on dA anymore. I will continue to come on here and see how everyone else is doing, but school is basically my life right now and I don't really have time to create and post up any drawings. Also, I feel kind of awkward whenever I post one of my drawings up on here honestly because - and I'd expect for everyone to think this, too - none of them are that great. The art world of today has swept from traditonal to digital-styled pieces of art, and I happen to be a complete ignoramis when it comes to drawing digitally. I realize that I could try to learn how to draw digitally, but the tablets are too expensive for me to afford and coloring/sketching with the mouse has never done me any favors. I just don't believe I fit between all of my friends on dA who draw better than me and/or draw digitally. And I really mean it when I say that every single friend I have on here draws amazing, and I wish I could just instantly be as good as y'all. I have a LOT of practicing to do before I can even consider myself any "artist" of a sort.
